Leadership

Accessible leadership. Clear responsibility.

Legal judgment and operating discipline brought together around the client, with senior involvement from first assessment to resolution.

Our Model

Senior attention without unnecessary layers.

The firm is led closely by its founder and operating leadership. Clients know who is responsible, how to reach the team and what happens next.

The two roles are deliberately complementary: legal responsibility remains with the advocate, while institutional strategy and operations keep the client experience, process and execution aligned.

Founder & Managing Partner

Rashid Alketbi

UAE Advocate · Dubai

Rashid founded the firm to give clients direct access to senior legal judgment on matters that can materially affect a business, family, reputation or liberty.

He leads the firm’s legal work across disputes, regulatory matters and strategic commercial issues. His role begins with the first assessment: defining the real legal question, identifying what must be protected immediately and setting a route that the client can understand and act on.

In contentious work, Rashid coordinates the legal position, evidence and procedural strategy from early intervention through settlement, judgment or enforcement. In advisory and government-facing matters, he focuses on the lawful decision path, the quality of the documentary record and the consequences of each available option.

His working style is direct and accountable. Clients receive candid advice about merits, risk, timing and cost, including when the strongest recommendation is to narrow, postpone or resolve a dispute rather than escalate it.

Chief Operating Officer & Head of Institutional Strategy

Ali Al-Kaabi

Institutional Strategy · Client Affairs · Firm Operations

Ali brings broad operating experience across UAE public institutions, executive government, defence and private enterprise.

His career has involved high-accountability environments in which preparation, chain of responsibility and the quality of a decision can be decisive. He later spent approximately five years as chief executive of a business-centre company, adding direct experience of clients, employees, commercial operations and the practical pressures faced by founders and investors.

At Alketbi & Partners, Ali leads institutional strategy, client coordination and firm operations. He helps convert complex instructions into an organised workstream: identifying the stakeholders and authority path, coordinating information, keeping milestones visible and ensuring that the client is prepared for each decision.

Ali is not presented as a practising lawyer. Legal advice and representation remain the responsibility of the firm’s qualified advocates and legal consultants. His contribution is strategic and operational—strengthening how matters are prepared, communicated and advanced.

Detailed former institutional titles and dates will be published only after documentary verification and confirmation that public use is authorised.

How Responsibility Works

One team. Distinct accountabilities.

The client should always know who gives legal advice, who coordinates the work and who owns the next action.

Legal

Advocate responsibility

Legal analysis, advocacy, privileged advice, professional judgment and formal representation remain with the firm’s qualified legal practitioners.

Strategic

Institutional planning

Stakeholders, process dependencies and operating considerations are mapped so the legal strategy can be executed coherently.

Client

Visible coordination

Information requests, milestones, meetings and decisions are organised through a clear point of responsibility.

Quality

Senior oversight

The founder and operating leadership review how the matter is progressing, where it may be blocked and what the client needs next.

Responsibility stays close.
